Scalp shine is one of the most common frustrations I hear from bald men and SMP clients.
This video reached more than 1.5 million views because the problem is instantly recognizable. Bright lighting, sunlight, heat and perspiration can make an exposed scalp look significantly shinier — and on SMP, excessive reflection can make the treatment appear less defined.
After thousands of SMP procedures, I saw the same problem repeatedly: men were using facial moisturizers, generic mattifying products or heavy anti-shine formulas because very little had been created specifically with the scalp in mind.
That became the starting point for ROB JAMES FX.
